(02). Price
There are many web hosting companies known for their high hosting price. Some of these websites are as follows:
- Siteground.
- Inmotion.
- A2Hosting.
- Google Cloud.
- GoDaddy.
Even their basic plans start with a high price. I am saying it high in reference to the Indian publishers.
Due to high price, they start to search for a cheap service provider. Their key words include:
- Cheap wordpress hosting company.
- Hosting service under Rs. 100.00.
Many web service providers offer hosting services under Rs. 17.00 to 99.00 per month.
We, as a beginner, think it is very cheap, and purchase it immediately.
Now see this comparison between Onohosting and Hostingdart
Example 01:
Offer | Onohosting | Hostingdart |
---|---|---|
1 moth basic starter plan | Rs. 20 | Rs. 79 |
Disk space | 200 MB | 1GB |

Price is higher than Hostingdart.

Example 02:
Offer | Hostingdart | GoDaddy |

Price is higher than GoDaddy for a monthly plan.
Note: Hosting price as on January 2022.
Final answer: So-called cheap hosting providers are charging more than a big company like GoDaddy.
(03). Installation
You will face many problems during the installation of an application.
3.1: WordPress installation
WordPress is a Content Management System. We use WordPress as a CMS for our blog and website. It is best for blogging. Although you can create a beautiful website by using this application. It is easier than any other CMS.
Problem: Server problem.
Installation is not easy. You will face the following problems:
- Server is not responding.
- Server time out.
3.2: Zoomla installation
Joomla is also an Content Management System. We use Joomla for creating a powerful and very attractive website. Joomla is very dynamic than any other CMS, and at the same time it is very complicated for a beginner.
Problem: Limited disk space problem.
You can install Zoomla with a 200 MB or 1 GB disk space. Zoomla is a very big file which alone requires at least 900+ MB of disk space.
3.3: WooCommerce installation
WooCommerce is an e-commerce we application. We use WooCommerce for creating an online store just like Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. We can use with WordPress.
Problem: Slower website
WooCommerce is a powerful plugin. It is an e-commerce application. WooCommerce uses a significant portions of Ram and disk space.
It can easily slow down your small website.
(04). Bandwidth
Problem: Limited bandwidth
Bandwidth is a measurement of the amount of information that a particular computer network or Internet connection can send in a particular time. It is often measured in bits per second.
Small web hosting companies provide a limited bandwidth.
Let me explain it with an example.
- I purchased a hosting plan.
- My plan includes 100 GB bandwidth.
- This 100 GB bandwidth will work on a monthly basis.
- I am uploading images and videos on my blog.
- My one video (1 GB) got hit.
- This video is receiving many view in a day.
- It will going to cross 100 GB in 10 days.
- Now, 100 GB in 10 days means my bandwith limit has been crossed.
- In this situation, server wil not work for my website for the next 20 days of the same month.
(05). Disk space
Disk space is a place where we can store our files and data. It is one of the very important thing for a website owner.
Problem: Thin website
Let me explain it with an example.
- I purchased a hosting plan for 1 month.
- My plan includes 500 MB of disk space.
- It will remain same until I upgrade it to a bigger plan.
- I am uploading images and videos on a regular basis on my blog.
- WordPress is using 60 MB of the total disk space.
- Other plugins are together using more than 150 MB of the total disk space.
- Theme, database, etc., are using more than 50 MB of the total disk space.
- Content size is more than 200 MB.
Now what can I do? I have to upgrade my hosting plan. But problem is that I have no budget for this.
(06). Search engine ranking
The authority and the overall credibility of a hosting provider company play a major role in deciding the ranking of a website associated with them.
How does it work?
Server: Need an excellent server.
Authority: The overall authority of an hosting provider should be high.
Credibility: It should be a renowned organization in the national and international markets.
For example, the domain authority of GoDaddy is 93 out of 100, and it is 3 out 100 for Hostingdart.
Siteground, Bluehost, Hostgator, Hostinger, A2Hosting, GoDaddy, etc., are known for a very good server uptime.
Many cheap web hosting companies lack in these factors. They gurantee for a 99.99% server uptime, but it is not real.
A website which uses a good hosting company is more likely to get a better rank in Google search than a website that uses a cheaper one.
(07). Customer support
Problem: Limited contact options
Their customer support is weak. I’m saying it because of one of the following reasons:
- Small support team.
- Limited support.
- Time limitation.
- Language problem.
(08). Update
Update is not easy due to many technical reasons, such as low disk space, server response, etc.
